All,
There's Torco Racing Fuel at the Andrade Arco on 680 north of Vargas
pass Fremont prior to Sunol. They have 94-100 I put some 96 in my
07 Street Glide and it's a noticable different.

FYI

Its all in ur head, higher octane will not make u more power unless ur motor is tuned for it, the only reason race engines run higher octanes is to prevent detonation from running extreme compression ratios. Higher octane gas burns slower which also translates into cooler temperatures of combustion which is more resistant to ignition from pressure prior to the mixture entering the cyclinder or the spark plug firing(kinda like a diesal motor but not when u want it!). So although u may have felt a difference, it was all psychological my friend.

 The Key is that your motor needs to be Tuned so it will benefit from the higher Octane. the higher the octane is not always what's better, it has a lot to do with the molecular structure of the fuel and what your engine is tuned for. NASCAR for example runs 110 Octane for their engines. They have found this is the best structure for what they need and as you go up in class you will burn different fuels... Now you know... all you had to do was ask...

Well I know my Turbo SRT4 will benefit...Lower KR's & EGT's baby! More Advanced timing = More Power out of my Turbo!

So OG,
Is my 07 street glide tuned already for a higher octane?
I filled up last week with 94 and I swear the power seemed to be
increased. The bike jumped off the start and while riding on the freeway
I saw a Desparado and got that ass"Stock". I know Dusty said "it's all in
my mind" but I could feel the torque and the power seemed to have been some what increased.

Or just I just already have a bad ass bike...LOL

I would say you probably did not gain anything, but what happened is you didn't loose as much HP/ft lbs due to timing.

Mostly because since your running High Compression the Higher Octane will work better with your application. Which means you will loose less timing because theirs less knock, so more timing = less power loss.

So with 91oct your Stock 150HP/150tq engine will run @ 140HP/140tq at the flywheel.

But with 94oct your Stock 150hp/150tq engine will run @ 144HP/144tq at the flywheel.

No gain, just not as much loss of power due to Knock Retard.

To claim a gain would be to say that your Stock 150hp/150tq gained 4hp and is now 154hp/154tq. This is untrue in this case. But with a High Octane Tune you might depending on how much and what you can tune on the PCM/ECM/ECU, especially if the PCM/ECM/ECU came tuned for 87 octane.

So basically "no"!!!!!!!!! Hahahahahhaa

Detonation is when the mixtures combusts AFTER the piston has reached its optimal position (x degrees past TDC). Ping/Knock is when the mixture combusts prior to reaching the cylinder/combustion chamber. Knock is more dangerous and sounds like popcorn poping in ur motor. Harley Davidsons do not have knock sensors and therefore do not retard timing due to knock. Your srt-4 has a knock sensor that works off a pre determined sound wave that knock gives off specific to ur intake manifold. God im a turbo geak, i could go on for days,

but no name no offense but no u didnt gain power, its only 94 octane so i wouldnt be to worried. if u were running 104 unleaded or worse 110leaded i would be worried. To much of that stuff will foul your plugs and eventually break down your bearing surfaces from contamination.
